I have a biiiig soft spot for Selena Gomez. I think she always looks age appropriate and she's just so damn adorable I can't resist writing about her. Not to mention, the girl has fairly good fashion sense. Here she is looking casual but chic in an all gray ensemble. Let's break it down and see if we can nail her look for less.
Her tank is hard to match because of its asymmetrical ruffled detail and light grey hue, but I think
this J Crew top is a pretty good imitation. At $68, it's still a bit pricy, but go any lower and you're looking at tanks that either the wrong color or the wrong shape. This J Crew one nails the shade pretty well and has the detailing at the neckline like Selena's does.
Matching Selena's blazer is equally tough. The color is so light it's almost off-white, but there's the slightest hint of yellow-y beige that makes it difficult to match. Add in the fact that Selena's blazer appears to be a tiny bit satiny and yikes! However,
this blazer from Spiegel might just do the trick. Though it doesn't have black buttons like Selena's, the color's pretty close, as is the sheen.
These Kova & T 98 Skinny Jeans are so close to Selena's that they might just be the real thing! They normally retail for around $200, but they're on sale at ShopBop for only $59.40. Snag them before they're gone!
Lastly, we have to finish the outfit with shoes. Selena's are difficult to see, but they're definitely a different shade of gray than the rest of her outfit. In fact, they look almost mauve. We're going to go with
these wedges from Jessica Simpson. The color's very close to the one's Selena is wearing, and they've got the open toe style like hers do. At $75, they're not a total steal, but they're worth it. Their neutral color and many-outfit-friendly style mean you'll get plenty of wear out of them.
Finish off with a pair of silver hoops, and hey, is that Selena Gomez I see? Looking good, girl!
