It appears the underground resistance by the out of power GOP is starting with the conservative base, and it is starting as a fashion statement. Yesterday, why walking the streets of Manhattan I spotted 5 right wing shirts. This is the first time I ever have seen a right wing t-shirt in New York City sans a political year or event. Three of the shirts were a play on words all from the same company. One read Get Off Your Ass New York (dnc donkey picture) and the other were of the same theme with Get Off Your Ass America on them. Two shirts clearly read anti-socialist. I am going to keep my out for a trend here as I travel the country over the next week. I searched the internet for the shirts and found that they were all from a company called Conservative Gear. Not sure how they are advertising, but whatever they are doing it is working.
