I know this is not exactly fashion related, but as I roam the streets of NYC I carry my little portable camera with me so I can take some quick snapshots of interesting outfits. It helps me with my research and it also helps keep track of trends and look for trends that may be on the rise. When I am doing these little impromptu photos I use a little Kodak digital camera. Well about a month ago it broke, and I could not afford to spend the money on a new one. Lucky for me, and my fashion journal I was able to find a company that could fix my little Kodak and save me a ton of money.

Here is where the budget part comes in, Tele Plan Camera Repair was able to fix my Kodak camera and get it back to me in 3 weeks and it only cost me $88 (my camera cost $300, so I see it as a huge savings) - so if any of you use a little portable camera and it breaks, I highly recommend the people at teleplan.

They fixed my camera, and fixed it good and cheap.

I tend to stalk indie designers on the web because it's less likely I'll have awkward moment winding up being someone's "Bag Twin" on the street.

To that end, I'm a bit obsessed with Bookhou.com. They kinda do everything, furniture, home decor, what not - this time it was the bags that hooked me, this felt clutch in particular.
