You've probably figured out by now that here at Budget Fashion Report, we're a big fan of the maxi dress. It's flattering on everyone (even you, shorties!), it's simple, flattering, and great for bloated days. Basically, it's our favorite summer piece. In fact, we might even like it better than the jumpsuit. Crazy!

Today's online shopping revealed this gotta have it piece - the Jacinda Maxi Dress from Delia*s. This teen retailer is often passed up by women over the age of 16, but if you're willing to hunt, they've got some great pieces. This maxi dress would work just as well on a 35 year old woman as it would on a 16 year old girl. The color combination, with navy and deep orange, is a bit unexpected, and the oversized floral print is fresh, especially if you're getting sick of those liberty florals we've been seeing EVERYWHERE lately.

I used to LOVE Delia*s back when I was a wee youngin' - OK, I wasn't all that young. But in middle school, Delia*s was THE covetable brand. Pathetic, I know. But I recently took a look at the brand's summer offerings, and boy, I've been missing out! I wrote the store off as kid's only, but truth be told, they've got a bevy of adorable summer sundresses just waiting to be snatched up! Seriously, check them out below. I could see myself wearing each and every one of those.

Lately I have been dreaming of swimsuits. And, seeing that I am currently in California, it must be all the sand, sun and surf surrounding me right now. I poked around the web a bit to see if I could find some cute, affordable options and kept seeing a reoccuring theme of retro-inspired halter top suits with fun polka dots or hearts.
