My friend L sent me this image today saying how much she loved this outfit from Anthropologie and thought it would be something I would wear. Well, she was dead on, I adore this look, but in the past have always been a little put-off by open, drapey vest-cardigans. The way I am shaped doesn't make them hang or lay easily on my body so I always avoided them. But, I am loving how in this case, it is securely belted and there for stays in place and doesn't hang all over in the wrong places. What have we learned today? Look for bargains in unexpected places, because to a certain degree - luxury is a bargain. Invest in a piece like this (still a STEAL at under 30 bucks) and you'll get so much more wear out of it than you would your average thrift store toss away.
